I thought M chassis uses the same type of hex adapters for the wheels? Do you have any normal Touring car wheels to try onto your car?
I dunno whether FWD can drift anot...But at least I know its gonna be a powerslide/spinout more than a drift...Haha...

The PVC tires I got from Winnie have a longer width than the Speedmind rims... Any effect on drifting if my cutting of the PVC tires aint straight?

it is ok.it will not affect the drift.most PVCs are like this,to protect the rims.but if your shell is very close to your shell then it may rub on the shell and you seriously won't like it when that happens.=)

Thats why I must go find a saw to saw the extra pieces off! Lolz... alternatively, you can get the "sgdrifters" brand pvc tyres from bryant. the width is just right for the speedmind rims and does not protrude from the rims. there's also the "sgdrifters" brand rims prefitted with pvc tyres. they're a godsend for ppl like me who had a hard time (and i mean a hard time) trying to fit the pvc tyres onto the speedmind rims.
