actually you just need to fit over the side with the spoke... the inner ridge will push against the pvc in case you drift over uneven ground and the pvc wun get knock in and maybe damage something..

i am just afraid that the PVC will slide out of the rim when i play. if thats the case, then i shall go home and try to fit it through the side with the spokes. i have already fitted them through the side without the spokes though. cant wait to get back home to try drifting. ;D ;D ;D

After going over your post a second time, I think you mean that the PVC is overhanging the outter face (Spoke side) of the rims .......this is normal as your Speedmind rims is 24mm and the PVC is 26mm.
As Dabomb had said, the PVC will push against the inner ridge of the rims. Now if the inner ridge of your rims is 3mm thick, that means you'll have 6mm of PVC protruding outwards ! ;D

correct!... ;D if your tyres slip out of the rims ... just take some electrical tape and tape a few round over the center of the rim and fit the pvc in again..

Helloo...I've been looking at post at various ways of fitting PVC on the rims... I have a slightly DIFFERENT problem... How do you get it OFF the rims? Heheheh... Any insider information?? I've put CA glue when attaching the PVC on the rims (after sliding it thru). It's a pain in the backside to remove. Any help would be well appreciated..

Cheers.

For the dude with the fitting problem if you push it on as far as you can then use a little heat from a heat gun or hair dryer and force it on a flat surface you will find it will pop over the other lip with ease........

u mean heat up the pvc with a hair dryer and quickly fix in the rims? i even tried boiling the pvc in water and fish it out to slide it over the rims, but unsuccesful.

I've got one.......take another pvc tyre and place it below the pvc that you want to remove...then gently apply force(rim only) so that the rims can be push out while both pvc tyre acts as a stopper..... (Method courtesy of Dabomb)..........saw him did it once....lol ;D

Thanks for the help guys! As for the CA glue.. I'm in deep nutse coz now it's going to be a pain to take it out... should have tried the tape first. Hehhehehe... lucky i put the pvc on a very lousy rim, flat, no spokes, green color.. just to try PVC.
Iz,.. I will try your method, but I need to cut the PVC a bit on the edge so it'll break off.
Will let you know if I break the PVC or the Rims.. heheheheheh ;D

what's the tyre diameter? If it's close to 1 inch, get a 1 inch PVC pipe and cut same width as your tyres...make them fit by all means.

I have recently fixed my TT-01 with plastic pipe tyre whose width is bigger than the rim width. As such, the PVC pipe (rear wheel) touched the chasis. This has caused the pipe to rubbed against some part of the car chasis when the rear wheel spins.
I got the rim and pipe from Winnie.
I've to changed to a thicker spacer to get the wheel to protrude out slightly. Is this the way to handle ? Pls advise...thanks
