aiyah if want to do... must do with style mah.... btw y not setup the 04... use the same shell... team no secret... since HPI tires still nowhere to b seen... u tink we should get the kawada ones first, try settin it up? also have u heard about speedi tires from Aus/NZ... not sure if its rubber or abs... but from wat i read... its very lasting and good

Nope never heard, i know there're some drifting group in NZ...saw some of their vid clips as well. Kawada tyres ah...Zhirong tried it, i don't think any similarities with HPI D type. E Kawada ones more like harden Hobao tyres. The Yokomo RD01 is closer to HPI D but you have to take out those rings. Material wise is pretty close...it cost a bomb those dang Yoks...let me see if i can locate them. ;D

if i may suggest try n wait for Tamiya ones, they are ABS and trued. Our current PVCs cutting is not that straight and although it kicks the grey color is definitely not cool...lol ;D

yeah got them from rotor, last 2 sets. ;D It's hard rubber but as i suspected not really the same like HPI's or Yoke's but anyway it's hard rubber. If you can burn this you're close or even exceed the HPI break traction traction requirements.

my 04D setup will have the CG shifted slightly to the front. Do u use your Front 2nd upper link? With that caster won't change and affect camber and turning... dude you still have with you the plastic ctr 1way?...I want to try that on to help my turning. Hopefully this week the 04D can be done.

wah so free to do editing...
btw tested the kawadas' (multi storey near my place, very big as it is used for lorry parking on the ground floor, traction not as high(rougher than tarmac) as the Serangoon Bus Interchange, seems to be quite similar to Kovan, we can practice here on sundays if u want too), drift so so, the "tire sauce" also wears but still able to drift...still not like PVC

bro now i cant drift w/o using one ways... went drftin wif the tampines guys yesterday and tested both my cars... one wif and one w/o one ways... the one wif one way is awesome!!! now my other setup will get the same treatment...
also i find drfitin wif duct/electrical tape is much nicer than pvc... but this can only be done not on the upper most level of mscp, 1 level down... another thing i've given up hope on the kawadas... ;D
so how was the race yesterday??
