Hi ,
wondering whether u pros set the steering sensitivity to high or low on the controller during drifts?
high=turn more easily low=turn less

neither, most drifter will leave it at 100% (default linear).

practise your finger to move fast is better then setting the steering speed

It is quiet impossible to drift a FF RC car as there are no handbrake to control the angle and if u try to throw the car into the couner it will spin out.

Hi guys... Still looking around for a drift-mobil and have a few questions in mind...
1. Tamiya TT01 vs Yokomo MR4TC. Which one's better? Or Yokomo Drift Package? 2. A lot of Tamiya 1/10s out there using TT01 chassis but at different prices... Wadz the diff other than the body shells? 3. Will Yokomo body shells fit Tamiya TT01s and vice versa? 4. Which is the most economical way to get everything? LHS or websites (eg. rcmart)?
Paiseh a lot of questions cuz no one else to ask in Melbourne... So far been to 3 LHS here but only 2 of them had 1 x Tamiya Drift Spec each... Like they not very on abt drifting here... Sian...
Thanks guys in advance!
Cheers, Den

Ok.. i will answer all yr questions by my views 1) Yokomo Drift Package 2) Depend on wat items they included inside the package. Some have no ESC, same have. 3) Yup, all shells will fit any brand of 1/10 kits. But remember, we use 190mm shell 4) Get everything... i will choose websites

Erm.. i've just signed up in the sgdrifters and i would like to have a car and start drifting myself.. Do you have any recommendations about any durable cars that can drift for beginners? (It is bound to crash anyway) Please kindly help me keep a lookout. You can contact me at (k-8@hotmail.com) for instant messaging . I'll be online for almost every other day.. thanks! =9

I doubt you can bang until your chassis breaks, more like your bodyshell would crack We're drifting so it is not very severe.
For beginners, TT-01 is recomended. A member's tt01 has flipped 7 times while rallying but have not cracked, my TT01 (well last time, no longer mine) hit the rubber track we use during drift meets and flipped 3 times. Nothing wrong too. Play with bodyshell on, don't play with just the chassis, the body shell absorbs the impact.

I've searched TT-01 and found several models. Which one is stronger? Or maybe more durable? And the spare parts? (eg.weights?) Thanks..!!

If you want spares to be easily available, TT-01 for sure.

Hey all im new to this and was wondering is it better to buy a yokomo drift kit? or the yokomo rtd kit...?

Post by Bryant on Dec 9, 2006 14:22:56 GMT 7
building a kit yourself will give you a better understanding on your car setup. but if you are too busy to build or you have the skills already, you can try getting the RTD kit.

good battery.. get a 3300mah one.. tenergy[bryant selling] , gp or intellect is a good brand.. charger, bc-725A is cheap fast charger.. charges at 2amps but dosent have a cut off.. but if u have the budget, get a t15 or ex15pro.. 150 and 220 each..
