its slightly bigger and if u are using micro rs4 stage D there is no need to setup anything cos the D Box will auto drift for u

yup. everything have to get frm tai sing since they are the only ones who support micro rs4. used to want one but mini Z more support.

Mini-Z: 1/27th scale...Around 15-18cm length M. RS4: 1/18th scale...Around 20-30cm
Put the Micro on the Mini-Z track...Mini-Z will still outperform the RS4...Mainly the RS4 has a bigger turning radius...

put the mini-z on the micro track...Micro will kick the daylights out of the Mini-z.hehe

i dun think thats quite possible.
considering mini-z is superior in terms of cornering ability and scale speed it shld beat a micro when touring; ceteris paribus.
drifting dun even need to say, cos D spec comes with D box which is a cheatcode. so no pt comparing.

"considering mini-z is superior in terms of cornering ability and scale speed it shld beat a micro when touring; ceteris paribus." so X is making a truistic statement, becos if we assume miniz is superior in cornering and speed, obviously it would win if we assume all other things to be equal. so why need to ask "are you sure?"

Anyone tried a front one way on the micro to drift? Hate to replace the one way with the stock gear diff cos its troublesome work... And Taising got sell drift tires for the micro? Didn't see it when I went there...
|
|
|
Post by RowdyRowdyPiper on Nov 25, 2006 7:36:51 GMT 7
dun worry i not marah...
nov - my opinion is not to get the front one way... its too ex... if u need to use it, then u need to consider getting the rear ball diff... wif tis 2... the cost is not worth considering... currently i'm using a stock car to drift... i set my front and rear tight(same goes wif the xmod, lock front n rear. never tried on awd mini z cos i dun own one)... if u take a look at the micro drift kit, the front is confirm lock... i cant remember whether the rear too... u have to check hpi webby to confirm...
didn see any of the new drift tires, the old ones were using something like heat shrink tubing... they only have the micro drift kit in, hop ups will be in later... where u driftin?

Post by Gucking Fenius on Nov 25, 2006 12:57:37 GMT 7
normal tracks as in the EP tracks at BK, East Coast etc? hmm...that I don't think they'll allow...BUT if you're with us at Serangoon or anwhere...then we'll readily welcome you with the Big Boys! pun intended! hehhe

should be lah! but you might want to reconsider lah! coz all the other cars will be bigger than yours! chances of being bumped out and far far away is very high lah! hehehehe!
