This thread is for TA05 Chassis Drivers to chat about the setup of your car. Setup you found is useful to drifting, which helps you to drift better.

Its an excellent chassis but looks like a belt drive version of a tt01 to me.

Beginner Class: TT-01 Advanced Class: TA-05 and TB-02 Pro Class: Hopped Up TA-05 w/ CF chassis and allu parts World Class: TRF415 and TB Evo
So the TA-05 is the belt version of the TB-02 not the TT-01, or the more exact way, the TB-02 is the shaft drive version of the TA-05.

Comparing TA05 and TT01... I guess tat u can do more settings and fine tuning on it rather than a TT01. And TA05 has more hopups i guess. The other difference will just be belt or shaft.

Heard that TA05 car drift almost stock due to balance layout of the chassis.
Btw, if u intend to keep add in hop-up parts, would suggest to get a TRF415 (any version) will be cheaper than a hopped-up TA05.

Yes, you are right. I'd rather save money and spend on a good kit than spending on third party parts and I have.

TA05 comes stock with lots of adjustable components already for you to tune the car. It's very well balance and great kit to build - that's my first drift car from a friend's advice.
After I have assembled the TT01, to my surprise, it's almost NO GRIP with PVC tires. Very good for drifting. It does not have many adjustable components eg. camber adjustment, stock absorber hardness and position etc, because it does not need them for drift setup.
I am going back to my drawing board on the TA05 now for better drift. Any advise on the TA05 setup?
