i think that one might be the stage 1 trueno. when i went with housemartiniz to tekka mall, the shopowner said the white hood one is ltd ed and sold out so kind of collector item

hee hee. well.. dunno la. 1k prob includes the chassis. but considering the chassis is RWD for the earlier versions, i think that if any drifter buys it, it will be really 1k for shell lor.

Both Stage 1 and Stage 2 are limited editions. Stage 1 is the white hood. But I feel that guy is trying to rip off. Anyways, the stage 2 (black hood) set version (comes with TX) is on offer but its RWD. Not too sure if the place still carries just the stage 2 shell, mine seem to be the last. Am waiting for the red trueno to come in. Yeah!!!! Buy buy buy!
Been playing in my room every day, d**n solid!

hope it's ok to post here . SC at tekka mall sells (or was selling, not sure if they still have stock) the trueno body shell (they call them 'asc', which stands for 'auto-scale collection', the name of the bodyshell series for the mini-z) for S$80. the regular asc bodies go for S$50. limited edition/rare ones sell for more. but 1k for that (even if it's for the rtr package, with chassis and stock controller) is definitely a rip-off.

definitely ok to post here supposedly the guy was selling just the shell alone.. for a original ae86 shell. the one b4 takumi upgraded to a CF hood. so basically, he wants 1000 dollars over the standard 85 for spraying a 4cm by 4cm piece of plastic with white paint. go figure.. lol..

Those who are interested in silver or red based AE86 can go Hobbybug and get one...Saw quite a couple there selling around 30...
The cheapest painted ASC at SC is $44 (ASC like 350Z street ver. and R32s...) The most expensive is $80 (From Initial D and 2F2F) Even limited editions like black Murcielago and 360 Modena cost $60...

2f2f is the previous installment not tokyo drift. got the evo and the s2000. i think its old limited eds that SC sourced from overseas.
tokyo drift edition may be out in future. heh heh.
p/s: anyone heading to HK post here so we can pester u to help us find some ltd ed mini z shells. since the scene much more vibrant there.

Hobbybug has very old shells like S2k, BMW Z? Roadster, AE86... But not many buy the shells from them thats why its cheaper...But if you want more variety, SC is the place to go...
