wow wanna get a set by sat?? no problem i dont mind going down to winne shop. the budget for starting kit would be around $400 if you want new set. 2nd hand $300. but it's 2nd hand you may get cheated by getting a lousy body broken parts and bababab.(means need to buy those parts again and in the end become $400++.)

TT01D will be a better choice. e.g. diff shock, diff motor and lots.. tt01 1. full ball bearing 2. aluminium propeller shaft 3. heatsink tt01D 1. aluminium propeller shaft Ta05 1. none. ;D

Settings have to be done differently for touring and drifting if u are very into these in terms of how well ur chassis can perform. So each time u play, u have to set ur chassis to the desired playing. I dun think u can use the same setting for touring and drifting. If u still thinking of using the same chassis for both, good luck on setting and tuning for ur chassis everytime and buying extra parts.
If u thinking of playing touring in case u dun like drifting or the other way round, my own opinion will be TA05. Shaft or belt driven, both also can drift.
Like wat you have mentioned earlier in the post "most touring cars are running belts". So any ideas on wat u want??

If you would like a car to tour and drift, I would suggest the TB02R.... it works well on both sides...
