tarmac, that would be good. I am having serious doubt that the HPI D can drift at all. How the hell they did it in their US vidz? haha.. im thinkin that they used pretty high turn motorz... cuz the motor seemz to be screamin like mad alreade (in the vid.) ;D

Even Rubbish with his Schultze BL have to dig hard just to make the power slide, much less brushed motor no matter high or low turn :sigh: I think it's more than just a motor issue here.

It's coming along just....slow ;D still need some parts to make it complete. Looking for: - front bumper brace ....found - PU bumper (possibly take the TB-02, nice n cheap) ...soon - Battery holder ....use old fiber chassis that has one - Rear 0deg uprights ....found As for the shells, looking killer, wil post pic once i've done one up. The low wing looks awesome too.

true, still can't locate the corner markers... anyway have you think of a way reducing the 'free wheeling' effect of BL, seems lacking performance in decellarating due to 'slipperiness' of PVC. I got this problem after fast & wide drift & sudden tight chicane entrance where i need to slow down.
I suspect driving style with pipe like those Thais is different than with PVC because different amount of sliding and that means the HPI D will be at the extreme side. Level of traction from low to high: PVC-PE Pipes-Kawada/HPI D with your 'tyre sauce' the HPI D may jump to: PVC-HPI D treated- PE Pipes. I will see if tomorrow i hv time to go and search some of these PE pipes.

yes, now quite a lot of progress liao. I switchback (boy love this word) to old 04Pro fiber chassis, cos it got battery holder. ;D Just found out when i inspecting the diffs, both FR metal outdrives really worn... not sure if the delrin ones able to take the beating or not. Some of the univs pin also need redo..

more vids on that web, but those on board cam is not as cool as i thought....watching it make me dizzy..:lol I suppose the idea is to follow the other 'show' car, but is just not working. If only the cam angle can freely follow the object without the carrier need to point its nose... The one with GrandTurismo2 theme song is better .
