i draft the design for the Osprey already... 6chs is enough. I know it'll be hard to get 2 identical BLs for LR tilting props but it should be fun cos i found it technically challenging... hehe Slowly lah... this one is a long term project.

only the props are rotating, the wing is fix. If i get it pretty close to scale, CG shouldn't be much off. 1/3rd from LE should be the pivot point so props motion won't alter the CG.... well that's theory, we'll see.

after talking to dabomb last nite.. there are some tricky spots identified. Some solutions as well so some things need to re-think.. but still i'm confident it is possible to be done. Also have to work out the scaling size between motors and wing loading for a well balance Osprey.

Shiun, i tried bending the coroplast... not good. Even after heating up the thing, the bend is not smooth, i suppose must use the big blow torch...

blow torch use is recommended by spad... it's impossible to get the curve without heating up. Even if you heat it up, must be evenly spread... not easy. I abandoned the coroplast bending thing, probably stick with straight one with less lifting. Most i'll try is to combine the coro with the foam although not so sure if it'll work.

That Tomcat is sweet, I'm thinking of building an F-15 or F-22, ducted, but that Tomcat makes me think otherwise. Wish can fly wif you guys if time permits.
