the century isin't that long.. u get pvc pipes that are the diameter of the normal rubber tyres that u put onto ur rim. cut it to the right width, i.e same width as ur normal rubber tyres. then u fit the pvc tyres onto the rims..

well i dunno if ur from singapore, so prices can only be listed in singapore dollars. kits likewise, i'm not sure what we have here are what u have where u are but i'll jsut do so anyway. ( the term including electronics = including TX/RX, ESC, Motor, Batteries, charger )
1. TT01 => First hand including electronics around $300+++, 2nd hand depending on ur luck $200-$300 ( bearing in mind that higher quality electronics and hopups on your car will affect the price ) 2. TA05 => Belt driven car instead of shaft like tt01, ur experienced in rc so u should know the differences etc. Price mostly same as TT01, kit is slightly more expensive first hand..bout 50-100 more i'm guessing. nver had much experience with that cos i nver ran TA05 b4 3. Yokomo Drift kit => can check out the prices on the SGdrifter shop section. its a more advanced car but u can start on it then save the trouble of upgrading when u improve. 4. HPI cars => Sprint2 and Cyclone S are both quite gd for drifting ( first hand experience ), though HPI isin't very popular in the drift circuits. about $400+ for a first hand kit including everything. this cars are also more advanced than tt01 and should be considered middle-midhigh level car. same as yoko, buy if u have more money and wanna avoid jumping a level 1 car.
tts all for the commonly/not so commonly used ones around here. 2nd hand depreciation really depends on how old the model/popularity etc. can be from 20% depreciation to 50%. check the other threads. for more details. esp the stickied threads on the newbies interested section for more prices and arguments bout performance of chassis.

ah the prices i listed is including getting electronics.. yup.. so that does make it about $50-$100 more than tt01 depending on whether its TT01 normal, D spec or R spec right?

You could also get a Team Associated TC4 or wait for the TC5. The tc4 is shaft driven, the tc5 will be belt.

would any of these cars e worth getting? These kits are missing eg. esc and receiver..... could i go to my buggy and pull the ESC and reeiver out o it and put it in this one? Problem is nt worth it or not. Is all depend on how much u willing to spend on yr first drifting kit. Of course, spend more, meaning u get yrself a gd kit, more setting u can play with. ;D ;D ;D Yup, u can take out yr electronics n install them to yr kit.
