i was curious. . .i have a serous problem with never being complete on my shells. i have 2 skyline r34, 1 ztune style the other gtr34.
i love the look of carbon fiber on white or CF on silver. i have a few sheets of carbon fiber vinyl & would like to wrap the hood on the silver & both hood & trunk on the white since it is spoiler-less.
any ideas on cutting to fit? i tried just fitting it & trimming it off, but i am afraid the razor is cutting the very top of the plastic shell.
any ideas are welcome!

u could use a pencil and draw out the markings on the CF decal, then cut accordingly to the markings.=)

but how do you match up the different curves & variations of the hood/trunk? eyeball it? or are you talking about laying the unpeeled vinyl on top of the hood & making he marks? i still would see one missing the line or something else like a certain groove on a scoop or something. . . .of course i am always open for suggestions since i am new to this.

hi, there. to get the correct size in trimming the decal sheet, what i do is trace the shape (example: the hood) on a clear acetate film (the sheet use for overhead projectors) by pen so you will have a template to follow. transfer the template on the decal sheet and try to give a little allowance so you can trim litttle by little until you get the exact size and shape. good luck, sir.
