Hi guys, Just like to introduce myself, as I am new to the drifting world. I have seen all your videos and read through many threads and am on my way to drifting nirvana! Thought I might ask while I'm here, as I am new I am looking to purchase a Tamiya TT-01 which you guys highly recommend for beginners. I have about 2 years experience in nitro on-road and came to electric for the drift experience and action. Do you guys recommend Hop-ups for a TT-01 when I get it, or is it just not worth it? (It's the only one within my budget a.t.m) SGDRIFTERS Thanks. Spirited.

Hi guys, sry about the long reply. Finally got my TT-01 kit, she's built and ready to go. Got some hop-ups (Propeller shaft, bearings, RS 540 Sport tuned motor, upper arm kit and drift rims) I have a WRX STi 2004, painted pearlescent white-green, looks quite cool. Modified the rear wing and changed look to a tuner. Will post picks. I've been drifting heaps. Got myself a discharger, 3000 Nimh and my car lasts for ages (run time) Can't wait till tomorrow, more drifting!!

Sry guys, Yeah, I'm not local. Wish I was though, sounds like drifting is so popular around where you guys are. I can only wish I was there. Yeah, I'm in Australia - I think I have some connections for meets, so it should be all good If I only I could be there, I would go to meets everyday if they were on that much where you guys are! d**n. Thanks. Spirited.

Greetings from Melbourne Australia. We have a pretty active RC scene downunder, so if anyone is planning to be visiting anytime just give us lots of advance notice and we can arrange something! from the last time I took some pix:- www.rcd1.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=888

Hi everyone, Sorry about the long time and no-reply - but I'm back to post my progress. I've got a couple of pictures of my car and I'm happy to say that I am getting good/ better at drifting! I recently installed a yokomo muffler kit on my TT-01 and modified the spoiler that comes in the kit. enjoi. -->
