if you're using normal masking tape for the bigger areas, gotta be a bit more careful when peeling off the normal masking tape, because it may leave a layer of residue, unlike the yellow tamiya masking tape. this residue may not be obvious after you peel it off, but after you spray the paint over that area, the parts with residue will show up. speaking from experience lol. i suggest to use the yellow tamiya masking tape only, even for bigger areas; these also come with wider widths. more ex i know, but better than risk ruining the paint job i think.
for the decals, there are some shops in bras brasah that can print designs over clear sticker (this info i got from housemartiniz via the forum). i checked it out - there's a corner shop at the 3rd level iirc. you must have the designs ready in certain formats, like pdf, photoshop, illustrator, freehand etc., then they can print them out on clear sticker for you. but the shop i went to, the minimum size is A2 (which is pretty big), and they charge $30 for it. so you can put whatever designs you want for all your future bodyshells lol, because A2 size is big; make sure they are in the correct size/scale in a file (pdf etc.), and get them to print it out. the quality will be there.

So have u seen the quality print yet??

for my 350, i pasted my scarab on the outside, but when it bang on the wall on its side, some part of it got torn or scratched.
so for my intega, i pasted my design from the inside. for my front boot and rear, which i sprayed black, i used normal cheap masking tape. it works perfectly well for me, no seepage.
say want to come bb last sat? was lookin for u man. see ya this wk. cheers.

12am? haha went home already la.
i used photoshop to design, bought the vinyl stickers for printers from art friend to print, but den my printer spoilt, so i used my leftover red and black stickers, i trace it out and used artknife to cut out the design. i pasted the stickers from inside the shell.
if u want to print out ur decals at bras basah, im not sure hw much it cost, wong said about $30 for A2 size? i didnt know its that expensive. if u have xerox printer at home, u can try printing it out urself.

Simply put, Sunshine Plaza is opposite Parklane and the very famous MR Bean cafe (aka Selegie Arts Centre).
