this is a battery related question i hope someone can help me with: in singapore who can weld batteries to make a battery pack? mine broke....

I doubt she will do.
A 40W or 60W Soldering Iron will do if you can solder(not weld). Else you can bring down to any drift meet and see if any one can help you.

hi dudes thanks for the replies wJ`: i believe pro drifter is right-called her and she say she can help. but after thinking a lot,i think i want to invest in a really hot iron (like you mentioned), since i think i will be breaking battery packs again in the future. as for welding-i think im right to say that noone in singapore has the (expensive)spot welding equipment to help me out in this...guess soldering is the only way.....

1 suggestion , break up the stick pack into loose cell n convert them into side by side batt.

Yup Near winnie there's a hardware store , 3 shops away on the left Just get a 60W Soldering iron, solder and flux grease around below 20. Anyway i think everyone solders their packs and not weld, maybe I'm wrong but welding means like 1000 degree C plus. Wished i could check up wikipedia

well,weldering doesn't mean 1000 degrees plus.depending on the material.but normally welding takes place above 500 degrees C.=)hope u'll get ur batt up and running soon.=)

hmmm.. how to convert to side by side formation.. cut open the packs then use solder ar.. solder strong enuff..?
