Yes you are right, the heat generated by tamiya plugs is too high, causing high resistance, so the resistance in the circuit cause T15 to detect a false peak, thus stopping. It can be easily solve by changing to deans plugs...haha

haiyoi!!!james dean are the shizneh..but god!! im so lazy to do it... Whats so lazy about changing to deans? Its not like asking you to dismantle your car... Some people dismantle their whole car after every drift just to clean out the dust... and they never complain lazy... Deans is one of the cheapest upgrade you can have for your car...

if you haven't changed to dean's yet... some things you can try... works from my experience on the t15.... run the discharge to charge cycle. set discharge to 1A and charge to 3A. 3.5A is really pushing the limit imho, your batts will get really hot... also, the connector from your charger to the battery, i.e. the one with the 2 banana plugs on one end and the tamiya plug on the other... if the tamiya plug looks brownish (from the heat), time to change it. suggest you get the "real" tamiya plugs with cables from stargek, the cables are of a better quality. if you don't like soldering just get the screw type banana plugs from sim lim tower and screw them onto the other end of the cables. a much better solution if you want to stick to tamiya plugs - get the ICE charger . works very well for me, no false peak problem as with the t15. you can discharge at 10A, cycle, repeak, step charge etc. etc. the works.
