yes changing to 25/55 would give the tt-01 its maximum speed/power

i won't say to 25/55 will give it maximum speed/power,cos it depends on ur motor too.but its the best gear ratio available for TT-01.n btw u're posting in the correct section.u're asking for help.=)anyways, changing to a high powered motor like tamiya super stock TZ/RZ will give u alot more speed.

My old TT-01 is on 25/55 and sport tuned motor.... throttle EPA 80%
u also see it's potential liaoz.... Think abt it...

Nope... the speed juz give my rev to pull the car thru long drift... Short drift no need 25/55 More speed is from the sports tuned... But on TT-01 is a bit tricky to control in 100% throttle EPA If use silver can.. something u do long drift... u feel not enuff power... U can play around of the throttling... I dun tell u directly lah... But can one.

the motors have different turns more turn, more accel, less top speed less turn, less accel, more top speed
if u keep spinning out, use a motor wif less turns...cos more turns will cos you to break traction easily...

for mi i usin 25/55 wif sport tuned...wif 100% throttle epa...and i find dat i can sumhw or rather control it.....and i find dat wif sport tuned and dat gear ratio gives tremendous amt of speed...so i dun realli tink other turn motors would help...but its all just preference

Most people use 25 55 as mentioned. Shouldn't change motor because you spin as wong said, practice makes perfect and all you need is practice I found 2 websites that might be of use. www.in-miniature.co.uk/show_article.asp?aid=16&sec=carwww.rctek.com/info_rcgears.html

for me i'm using 19/61 and it runs fine, thou also the usual spinouts.control is vital in drifting, and a slight slow in action can cause a bad crash.=)

sports tuned 25/55 more than enough. u'll find that u'll almost never need full throttle if ur on 100% epa.

wat u mean?we mean the gears connecting the gear on the motor and the alum shaft are 25/55.dun get the wrong meaning man.=)25/55 gives alot more power as compared to the stock 19/61.its powerful enough for us.

just got a quickie,
on the stock motor, can it take 25/55?
i was advised against it. and was told the motor might not take it. On the stock esc, what motors can i get?

u could consider a sport tuned motor(tamiya) or a yokomo stock motor(27T) from bryant
