This game has been around for the longest time, I was one of the beta testers then and now this game has really evolved. It was a great sim then BUT its fantastic now!!! Was chatting with Lawrence (the serangoon guys will know him. He's driving the black MR2) then talked about racing sims then I introduced him to this game and we had loads of fun. The physics are amazing and u can race or drift online together. Here is the website for it www.liveforspeed.net/The demo is free but the game is definately worth buying. Lawrence and I are currently playing with the free version. Drifting and touring online together. Please do join us, its *free and its loads of fun. Best enjoyed with a gaming steering wheel. For those of u with a PS1 or 2 wheel please pm me on how to use it for this game. Cheerios and have fun!

i tried playing...quite fun honesty but a bit difficult to adapt to the controls and all. Prefer my NFS carbon on ps2! lolx

Yep but they are both ver different. NFS series are games. This is a simulator.
I tried setting the GTi just like my own car and the characteristics are so damm simillar, it handles slightly better in the game due to the better CG for the GTi but still, its damm amazing. The dev team did a great job with the physics.

Tried LFS using mouse and kb for controls. Quite tough cos when using mouse button to accelerate, can't really have variable throttle. Would steering wheel and pedal give you response like real driving ie. throttle variation with pedal position? Still, I'm trying not to clutter my room further so prob gonna try to get used to mouse for now. Anyone using kb to accel and steer?

Braindamage is a mouse/kb user too. And to answer your question, The steering and pedels does give u variable comtrol like the real thing, that makes it only harder, And when accidents occur, the force feedback kicks in and u're on a bull fight to regain control. Damm fun!

Ahh its gona be really cheap, don;t worry about rebuilding it, just do a replacement. Considering the labour cost in Aus its cheaper and mroe cost effective. If u need help in getting an engine feel free to PM me for a quote.
